I like to describe myself as a person who enjoys all the seasons. I always find solitude in knowing that there is going to be a change. I like to look forward to all the festivities and changes that each season has. Autumn naturally is a symbolic time. It’s represents so much in the natural world.

Autumn represents change, as well as reminds us that the end of the year is close. Autumn also is a chance for rebirth. In nature there is always a cycle of life and death, beginning and ending. If you know anything about farm life and harvesting this season is usually the time to get ready for winter. Things can get difficult during winter. Winter is a time where the weather is harsher, there is less life and the earth isn’t as abundant.
Life starts to slow down, the weather cools down and we have less sunlight. I believe this can be a recipe for disaster if not intentional and optimistic durning this time. Sometimes the holidays can be the toughest times for folks. If you are one of those people. Find ways to be active durning this time. Start planning how you will keep your joy. How you will intentionally give your self a safe place mentally to process whatever feelings you might have.
When the holidays are about to start and we are busy and cozy at the same time. I like to look at Fall and Winter as a time to gather, get cozy and hibernate.
I am reminded that change is beautiful when I see the leaves turn to vibrant variations of red, orange, purple and yellow. Nature always brings me a sense of peace and there is nothing more beautiful than the colors we see with our eyes from nature.
I get inspired feeling the crisp air against my cheeks and breathing in the fresh air that autumn brings. There is a stillness you feel in the air, that reminds you that you’re still here apart of nature. It’s like the air hugs you, it’s thicker but in a good way.

I romanticize this season by bringing in some of those beautiful colors into my home. Or taking nice walks with a warm cup of coffee in hand. Drinking teas with cinnamon and herbs that feels like a warm hug. Taking out the blankets and making sure our couch is cozy and comfortable. I also like to go the pumpkin patch and make my fall bucket list to remind myself to embrace this season and all it has to offer. I have a fall bucket list on another blog which I recommend you check out.
Autumn is embracing change. We all know sometimes change can be scary and intimidating and the feeling of the unknown can be challenging. We have to be remember that most things have a beginning and an end. We live life in cycles of that rule. If we see the beauty in change and that rebirth is necessary and natural. We can appreciate all the seasons in our life and realize that change is a part of life.
